Meha, Heena & Mahi

18th May! 4 years ago on this day my life could have gone for a toss. But the great Almighty had far better plans for me.

Mahi & Meha were born on this day and their mom / my wife Heena was re-born after a fight with death for over 8 hours.

I wish a very very very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my M3 – Mahi-Meha and their Mom. All three of them are now 4 years old.

Heena, I fight with you a lot and also get on your nerves at times (or is it “at most times”?).
M2, I scold you both, not a lot, but quite a bit. (But don’t blame me for that! Behave yourselves! )

But without you three, my M3 - my life would be ………

I just can’t imagine that!!

I generally delete the forwards without even downloading or reading them. But a mail landed in my mailbox from a client who NEVER forwards me mails. I thought it must be something worthy and read the mail. I am glad I read it!

After M2 (Mahi-Meha) and M3rd (their Mom), here’s M4th of my life - Musical instrument.

My last keyboard was acquired way back in 1987 for 6,000/- I enjoyed it for almost 13-14 years. I still have that keyboard. But some keys are broken, some controls are mal-functioning, tones and styles (rhythms) have started sounding funny. In short, I stopped enjoying it long back.

I had decided that I will not make any compromises. I will wait and wait and wait, but will take the best! I waited for over 6 years for a right opportunity, but at last bought this black beauty - Yamaha PSR S 550 B keyboard

A client recently got an email, apparently coming in from Manas Hosting asking for “…. all ur domain names, controlpanel url, login ID paswd of ur domains + secret key / authentication code ….“.

The client is in the process of transferring his domain name and hosting to my Website Solutions firm viz. CREAIMA (formerly mailnspace) and therefore called me up to inquire about this mail. Fortunately, he isn’t naive to fall for this trick. But this is just to warn all those who own domain names and/or websites. BEWARE! Do not fall for such tricks.

A whole lot of protest has been going on against the Olympics 2008 in China. The issue of Tibet has hogged lots of lime-light earlier. When a country with iron curtains like China organises an international event of this magnitude, there are bound to be a few controversies as well.

Windows XP SP3 is released. Here are the SP3 release notes. I was waiting for that since quite some time because now I will format my laptop HD and install SP3 on top of SP2. I hope SP3 incorporates all the updates released after SP2 and it solves more problems then it creates.

Some of the steps to take before installing XP-SP3 are truly frightening!
