There is hardly anything worth reading at my (so called) blog because I am not a good blogger. But there is one section which has been appreciated by many of my friends, cousins and acquaintances - Twins-Timeline where I keep 2 pictures of my daughters every month since their birth.

Recently I have been so busy (and not lazy!) that I have neither clicked too many pictures of them nor updated the timeline on regularly. However, today once again I postponed some work to update the timeline. Now it contains pictures upto September 2007.

Following pictures are the crux of the timeline. It is their pictures when they were just a few days old in May 2005 and the more recent pictures of August 2007. You know where to go for a complete view - Twins-Timeline.

I came across an old message in my inbox from my friend Kalpik. The message contained some funny error messages. Although quite old now, it still made me smile. So here they are, with a hope that it will make someone smile.

My dad today got operated at Breach Candy Hospital for two problems - prostate and hernia by Dr. Pheroze Sonawal. My dad is 70 years old. Although the operations by themselves were not major ones, anaesthisia was somewhat tricky due to his health generally and a by-pass surgery that he had undergone 4 years ago. We were a worried lot at 12 noon.

But all’s well that ends well!

He is out from operation theater and is back in the normal room. He is pretty ok. I spoke to him, he responded well and was only sleepy due to the sedation that he received for operation. As of now he is not allowed to eat for a few hours. But oxygen mask will be removed and he will be given some water at 7, some other liquid at 8 and light food at 9. He will be discharged within a few days.

I felt like shouting from the roof top, but internet has a far wider reach. Isn’t it?

It has been months since I blogged. The last post was about how Vanilla ice-cream puzzled General Motors and that way back 4th of April. In Ankur’s words the ice-cream has melted since quite some time. With my birth date falling on 13th April, I can say that I have become a year older (or is it wiser? ) since I blogged last time.

But work has kept me extremely busy. Secondly adsense revenue doesn’t motivate me enough to blog. And most important thing is that I am a lazy blogger. I will think about blogging only if I have nothing else to do, today being an exception. Today I am blogging to take a break.

These days I am so neck deep in work that I have been working on all Saturdays and Sundays of this month till 10 in the night. My usual office hours have become 8am to 10pm (or later) in place of 10am to 8pm. I am not complaining because I enjoy my work. But I have only one problem about such long working hours. I hardly get to play with my 2 yr old twin daughters, Mahi and Meha. During the whole of last week on most days I used to leave home before they wake up and reach after they have gone off to sleep. Since they have now learned to talk, they used to ask about me quite a few times in the day. So on one day I left all pending work and left early just to be with them. On that day all 4 of us were happy - me, Mahi-Meha and my wife. My wife was happy because I was home early. And she was more happy because she got a break.

I don’t have any fan-following on my blog and I don’t have too much motivation to blog too frequently. Still I think I will try to blog a little more regularly now. Wish me luck!
